McCarthy & Smith Inc. was hired by Woodhaven-Brownstown School District in 2006 to provide construction services on multiple elementary school addition and renovation projects. Services continued with district-wide remodeling and the 2015 Bond Program. With successful passage of the 2021 Bond Program, work continues with improvements to District-wide facilities.
- 2021 Bond Program:
- New baseball, softball, and practice fields with synthetic turf at the high school
- Construction and remodeling at all school buildings
- 2015 Bond Program:
- Safe and secure entrances throughout the district
- Large additions to Woodhaven High School – new gymnasium, new natatorium, and new tech wing
- Reconfiguration of high school spaces for group study and gathering spaces
- New front entrance and new administrative office spaces at high school
- Remodeling of interior spaces
- New school signage and playground improvements
- 2006-2014 District-wide remodeling projects:
- Renovation projects at five elementary schools
- Addition at Administration Building
- Remodeling at district buildings with an emphasis on sustainable features, including living green roofs
