Smith Creek Landfill & Pretreatment Facility

A new environmental process facility was added to the Smith Creek landfill. The new pretreatment facility captures leachate from the landfill that undergoes treatment and is ultimately accepted in the local stormwater treatment facility for further treatment and discharge.
Project features:
- New building structure
- Installation of extensive process piping to and from a large clarifier
- Installation of chemical treatment equipment and storage tanks
- New control systems for the fully automated new facility
