Grosse Pointe Public Library

As part of the Grosse Pointe Public Library’s efforts to reimagine their library spaces, interior remodeling and exterior upgrades have occurred at the three library branches: Ewald, Central, and Woods. Work was planned in two phases to meet funding initiatives and minimize disruption of library services to the community.
- Ewald Branch: Interior renovations included the lobby, circulation area, main stack area, and children’s area
- Woods Branch: Interior remodel included new layout of spaces with lounge areas and new state-of-art makerspace in lower level
- Central Branch: Exterior improvements included a handicap walkway, exterior gathering spaces, landscaping, lighting, new drive-up window, new roof, and extensive remodel of the interior program spaces
