Project Portfolio

A new 11,900 square foot science center was added to the campus for high school students. This single-story building included chemistry, biology, physics, and environmental science labs. A computer lab and staff offices also were added. Site development included extensive excavation of the building site, relocation of site utilities (storm and water) and new parking areas. McCarthy and Smith, Inc. provided cost estimating and value engineering. Our firm conducted and managed the bid process, value engineered to keep the project within the owner’s budget, and supervised all on-site construction activity. This project was scheduled for the most effective execution with minimal interference to campus activities.
