McCarthy & Smith, Inc. has worked with Farmington Public Schools since 1988 when our firm was hired to manage additions / renovations to school facilities, and to build a new elementary school. With the passage of a $95M Bond Issue in 1997, McCarthy & Smith, Inc. continued providing full construction management services to the District. Twenty-six school buildings received additions and renovations that included 13 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, three early childhood centers, one alternative education building, an administration building, and a maintenance building. This partnership continued with the successful bond passage on August 3, 2004, for a $25M Athletic Field Complex Improvement project.
