The rebirth of the Doubletree Guest Suites Fort Shelby / Detroit Downtown included the renovation of several first floor spaces by McCarthy & Smith, Inc. These spaces included the Finn & Porter Steakhouse (2,200 sf), Round Bar / Sushi Bar (1,675 sf), and Bear Claw Coffee Bar (892 sf). This beautifully renovated space maintains its historic integrity and features custom wood panels covering 90 percent of the walls, granite and hard tile ceramic floors, walls and counter tops, and one-of-a-kind custom light fixtures.
